The building itself is part of the experience, with thick masonry walls, lofty ceilings, elegant verandas, and the naturally cool interiors that have long characterised Puducherry's French colonial architecture. The tranquil atmosphere makes it feel removed from the bustle of the surrounding streets.
The menu moves comfortably between Indo-French influences and contemporary international cooking, placing particular emphasis on seafood and carefully balanced flavours. The smoked fish carpaccio is a refined and delicately presented starter that showcases the kitchen's light touch.
