Bread and Chocolate is one of those rare places that does everything well. Downstairs is a chocolate shop and bakery: house-made sourdough, croissants, macaroons, cinnamon whirls, and a gelato counter. Upstairs, the rooftop dining room serves a menu that takes its vegetables seriously without being tedious about it.
The Mexican bean salad served in a dosa wrap has become a signature dish. The roast vegetable quinoa poke bowl is the kind of food that makes you feel good about where you are eating. Bread is baked fresh daily and sells out by mid-morning.
Dietary options are genuinely wide: vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free menus are all available and clearly marked.
