THE SPOT is the Villa Shanti group's most casual venture: a hybrid space on Dumas Street that functions simultaneously as a café, bar, and boutique selling regional artisan goods. The concept is slow design — a space that invites you to arrive without a plan and stay without pressure.
The food is light Mediterranean: snacks, small plates, and things designed to accompany drinks rather than replace them. The craft drink menu is thoughtful. The interior boutique carries textiles, ceramics, and craft items from the region, which makes it one of the more interesting shopping stops in the White Town.
The location on Dumas Street, directly facing the Coromandel coast, gives it the kind of afternoon light that is worth sitting in.
